I have rented other rooms and apartment spaces for more than 12 years. We are currently taking reservations for a 1 bedroom condo size unit with a short walk to the vibrant U Street Corridor in NW Washington, DC! We are in the nearby vacinity of a renowned famous Ben's Chili Bowl Restaurant where President Barack Obama and other notable celebrities had visited. There are many restaurants and entertainment within a radius of two miles.Local transportation is outside the front door. Street Parking is available (a visitor's pass is also available). Our metropolitan subway system (Red & Green/Yellow lines) is only within 3 to 4 easy blocks of walking. The US Capital and National Monument can be seen from the front of our building.This condo size unit is comfortable and was remodeled less than a year ago. Ceiling fans and soring 12' ceilings are displayed beautifully. Because of the popularity of this area, the rooms become occupied quickly. The building is three stories tall with basement and built in early 1900's as similar to the brownstones in metropolitan New York City. Has some unique architecturally designed features. There are stairs from the front entrance that moves into a long hallway and wraps up two sets of 3 steps, then up to second and third floors. There is usually someone there to greet you (mostly me) so I will happily help with your luggage.The condo is available for a reasonable minimum nightly stay or negotiable Extended-Stays, OR Vacation Rental Property. The upstairs country carriage house is a cozy, quiet home for some R & R. This lovely private get-away is conveniently located to everything Portland has to offer. I will be happy to recommend reestaurants and other venues. The deck is gorgeous with heaters, up- lighting, chandeliers and a wonderful atmosphere. It can be used except during stormy weather when you would want to be downstairs snuggled up to the fireplace anyway! Located within walking distance to downtown Portland and convenient to the Pearl district, this romantic private suite is appointed with all of the luxuries found in a fine hotel. There is also a communal deck with mountain and river views available for your use when the weather permits.I do not ask for full payments at time of booking. I like to get a check sent to me for $100 US dollars at the time of booking and it is not refundable if they cancel or do not show up. I collect the balance when they come and apply the $100 to their charge. They can send the check payable to Vicki de Ville with their name and the date of their stay on it. Our apartment was fully renovated in Jan 2013 and refurbished and is very well maintained and comfortable - It is in a quiet yet very central area of Las Vegas. The complex has a heated pool and Jacuzzi.This apartment is located in Summerlin, in the north-western part of Las Vegas. Only 15 minutes away from the world famous Las Vegas Strip. It offers everything you need to feel comfortable.The living room features an LCD TV with 254 U.S. and international channels plus 5 German channels, a stereo system with CD player. A pre-paid mobile phone is at your disposal. The kitchen and the dining room serves 4 persons. The 1st bedroom has a king size bed (1.94m wide) and an attached bathroom. A terra cotta cinderblock garden wall, matching the house walls, provides privacy on the mountain side, forming a large courtyard and bringing out the beauty of our bougainvillea and other tropical flowers and gardens. The other side of the house and gardens are fenced for pets, including large or small dogs. Relax on our covered lanai with a drink and your loved ones and watch the Kona sunsets over the ocean. Next to the covered lanai is a large deck with a large, rectangular pool and separate hot tub.We live in an eclectic neighborhood, mostly smaller houses neatly landscaped, one unsightly house, and one millionaire house . From our house you can't see any neighbors because of the privacy walls and landscaping, but if you walk out on the pool deck you can see the millionaire's house.Our pool is 17' by 34' and just under 5 feet deep with handicapped steps at one end leading to the hot tub and bedrooms. It's solar heated, but on cloudy days can be cool. Pool temperatures range from 74 on a cold day to 86 on a really hot, sunny day, especially in August and September. I swim every morning even in winter when it goes down to 72.Enjoy the fishing boat activities on the sea below. Look up the coast at the beautiful Kealakekua Bay. Watch the saffron finches and tropical Java sparrows at the bird feeders and listen to the sounds of the Hawaiian doves. Enjoy our 3 bedrooms, carpeted, with 2 king size beds and one double bed, each equipped with dressers and closets. Each bedroom has sliding glass doors that open onto pool deck. The master bedroom has 2 closets and a regular door to hallway, while the other two bedrooms have sliding Japanese soji doors. Wood finishing and kitchen counters and cabinets are beautiful, old growth fir from Vancouver Island, British Columbia.Our large main bathroom has a shower big enough to share or to contain a wheelchair, aqua tile floor, and long counter. The large living room has sliding glass doors on both sides to allow the breezes through. The house retains a perfect temperature all day, no fans or air conditioning needed, but on an exceptionally hot day there are ceiling fans in every room. During the cooler evenings we sometimes close the sliding doors on the mountain side. From the bedrooms or the living room you can listen to the garden fountain and watch the birds take baths. There are 55 Macademia nut trees on the 3 acres which is a small, older lava flow. We also have mango trees and citrus. A nut cracker is provided on one of the lanai tables. The large table seats six and we eat dinner out there while watching the sunsets. Our pool is long enough for lap swimming, but wide enough for kids to play in. It is heated with a solar heating system. You can walk out of the house and jump right into the pool. Bathing suits are optional because there is a privacy wall from the neighbors who are far enough away that they couldn't see what you have on anyway.

A peaceful site on the edge of a lake with no motor boat, surrounded by nature and a beautiful house mostly sunny. Screened veranda offers the comfort of a dining room and a summer lounge. Facing south-west, the veranda can spend beautiful evenings enjoying the sunset. Fenestrated especially to the south, east and west, this green home has a fireplace that matches environmental standards. Whether cottage or a few miles, there is a multitude of sports and activities to do. Is close to the Spa Ofuro and Refuge. Trails corridor aerobics and Viking will allow you to ski funds, snowshoeing, or for summer hiking. The ski resort Morin-Heights is located less than 10 minutes away. There is also Monfortaine, the side of Wentworth-North, which is conducive to the racket. The ski slopes of funds Viking Club pass close to our field. Some of the best ski slopes funds in North America are upon us whether St-Adolphe d'Howard or Wentworth-Nord. There is also a center in Laurel that introduces people to the sled dogs (the Laurel nature adventure). A little later, the village of Saint-Sauveur with its many shops and services (water park, golf club and various summer festivals) will satisfy the whole family. There is also a ski center and tubing.It is even possible to skate on the lake if the weather permits. After these strenuous activities, it is good to sit in front of a cozy fire. Springtime, we can observe the awakening of nature. Pointless as the migratory geese can stop on the lake in their journey south to north. The family of loons just settle on the lake. During the summer, the slopes of aerobic corridor become hiking or biking. At about 10 minutes, there is also the ski resort Morin-Heights, you can practice the activity tree to tree (aerial adventure park). Saint-Sauveur offers a summer festival with free entertainment. autumn brings a variety of colors.
