Chateau Schulte is a great house in the perfect North Lake Tahoe location for fun in all seasons! The living room offers beautiful wood floors, cushy seating, books and DVD library, new flat screen TV (10/2009), and a Roku with games, streaming Netflix, and Pandora (new 4/2012), plus dining table for 5 and bench seats, tile floored kitchen, game closet, and woodburning woodstove. Deck off the back. Full bath and bedroom with twin/double bunk bed, daybed with trundle, futon, TV/DVD and dartboard also on entry level, to the right. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, each with a Queen bed, one with additional futon. 3/4 bath upstairs.The whole family will enjoy this wonderful home-- even the family dog. The Chateau in Chatham is a post-and-beam, timberframe home, situated on a secluded seventeen-acre plot, surrounded by other wooded properties, in the rolling foothills of the Berkshire range in Columbia County, New York. The contemporary appearance of the exterior is finished in rough cedar siding, stained an earthy taupe and, along with the cedar shake roof, blends into its surroundings. Upon entering, the dramatic beam structure of the house is visible. The few artworks displayed on the wall serve to accentuate the architecture and materials of the home.The Chateau is a spacious, 3-bedroom 1-bath (dual sinks, granite countertop) home, with an attached two-car garage. A cathedral ceiling runs the length of the structure with numerous skylights, and a stone fireplace fifteen feet wide and two stories tall dominates the main living area. The gourmet kitchen, fitted with KitchenAid appliances, flows into the dining area and living room complete with Italian ceramic tiles and wide-board pine flooring. There is a separate laundry/pantry and a full basement.
